Short Abstract Submission Guidelines

A Short Abstract Submission is required by all authors. Each Contributing Registrant is permitted to submit one (1) abstract only. Invited Presenters may submit 1 additional contributed abstract in addition to their invited abstract.

Short abstracts are used to provide conference attendees with a preview of your presentation (viewable on this web site prior to the conference) and as a means of selecting papers for contributed oral sessions.

Short abstracts are limited to 300 words, excluding title and authorship information, and cannot contain any special characters. We suggest an ASCII text file with the following format, prepared prior to registration, and ready to be uploaded onto the registration form:

    * "Title" is "Title Case" (first letter of each word capitalized). Optional: common prepositions, conjunctions, and articles shorter than five letters each properly appear in lowercase in title case text: a, an, the, and, if, then, else, when, up, at, from, by, on, off, at, for, from, in, of, out, over, and to [list not exhaustive]. Leave one blank line between this and the following section.

First Author (indicate "Presenter" in parentheses), Institution, Mailing Address Second Author, Institution, Mailing Address (Additional authors as needed). Leave one blank line between this and the following section.

The body of the abstract then follows, no special characters, and a 300 word limit. Separate paragraphs with a blank line, do not indent paragraphs.
