GETTING CASH AT THE AIRPORT

There is one Cash Machine (ATM; Caixa Bank) at the airport on the upper (departure) level, near security close to the 300 and 400 gates.

GETTING FROM THE AIRPORT TO LAS PALMAS

BY TAXI. Taxis are located on the lower (arrival) level of the airport; cost is approximately 40 Euro. Drivers prefer cash–be sure to check to see if they accept credit cards.

BY BUS. The Global Bus facility is located on the upper level, across from the terminal. For schedules and fares, go to https://guaguasglobal.com/lineas-horarios/.

REGISTRATION

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6. Registration will be open from 15:00–19:30 in the lobby of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium. Enter the building through the large wooden doors.

MONDAY–FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7–11. The Registration/Help Desk will be open daily in the Exhibitor Area of the Palacio de Congresos.

POSTERS

PRINTED POSTERS PICKUP
Posters printed by Silva Graficas will be available for pickup on Monday morning at the registration desk in the exhibit area.

POSTER SESSIONS 1 AND 2 SETUP/TAKEDOWN. Posters may be installed prior to or during the lunch period on Monday, October 7, and will remain posted through Tuesday, October 8, 17:50. Any remaining posters will be stored at the registration counter, but will be recycled if not collected by 14:00 on Friday, October 11.

POSTER SESSIONS 3 AND 4 SETUP/TAKEDOWN. Posters may be installed prior to or during the lunch period on Wednesday, October 9, and will remain posted through Thursday, October 10, 14:50. Any remaining posters will be stored at the registration counter, but will be recycled if not collected by 14:00 on Friday, October 11.

CONFERENCE T-SHIRTS

Conference t-shirts will be available for purchase at the registration area starting Sunday afternoon, October 6. A large quantity of sizes and styles will be available, so pre-ordering is not required. The cost is 10 Euro or 10 USD.

Are there places nearby to eat a quick lunch?

The shopping mall directly across the street from the conference center has dozens of quick and informal dining options. If you have a bit of time, there are plenty of cafes along Playa de Las Canteras.

Changing Facility for Swim and Surf

The Palacio de Congresos has made their shower and changing room available to us for the week. For those who would like to surf or swim during lunchtime, please be sure to bring your own towel as well as bag to contain your items. Please see conference staff to be directed to the location, as well as the path to the beach.
